Every spring, the stunning harbour town of Salcombe comes alive with one of the South West’s most anticipated food festivals – Salcombe Crabfest. Taking place on Sunday 3rd May 2026 (10am–6pm), this free, family-friendly event celebrates everything that makes the area special: fresh local seafood, talented chefs, live music, and a vibrant community spirit.

Now marking its 10th anniversary, Crabfest has grown from a small gathering into a major highlight of the Salcombe calendar, attracting thousands of visitors while raising significant funds for local charities.
